This was fantastic. Deep diving a weirdly fraudulent digital media company using cool analytics tool to trace out the digital paper trail? Heck yeah! I'm here for that sort of Garbage Day!
Great piece—but please, please, for the love of everything decent, stop using "though" as a weakening adverb at the beginning of sentences. It's extremely annoying. https://www.google.com/search?q=dictionary%3A+though
It really starts with naming your company by deliberately misreading a poem that cautions against ego, and oh your name is also the name of a Watchmen villain. What could go wrong??
Thats not where the bullshittery ends! In the front page promo for The Carlos Watson Show, Terry Crews saying his name is from a fucking TWITCH DONATION. Not for actual praise lmaoo.
As Brian Morrissey puts it about digital media in general; bullshit is a feature, not a bug. In Ozy's case the shenanigans, including, but not limited to impersonation of a YouTube executive on an Investor call, might just have reached epic proportions, but these tactics are pretty much endemic in the entire "ecosystem".

This was great, nice work on the deep dive Ryan.
