I read that GQ article about Harmony Korine’s "Hi-Tech Vision for the Future of Movies" and I thought, gee, that sounds an awful lot like Harmony is about to start selling NFTs, but this article doesn't mention NFTs anywhere. A quick search shows that Edglrd described themselves as a media company specializing in NFTs when they trademarked their name. Maybe they've decided to ditch the NFT part of their business model, but my hunch is they'll do what reddit did and avoid acutally using the term "NFT" due to it's unpopularity. https://furm.com/trademarks/edglrd-97386103
Serious question: is there any coverage of what happens on Pinterest? It has its own constantly churning meta that impossible to understand if you're not locked in to Pinterest as your primary social network. I'd like something for that like the way Garbage Day explains TikTok trends to me.
How much ad revenue is there really for Elon to share with Twitter Blue users these days??? My understanding was his comically terrible decisions drove away almost all major advertisers and revenue was down like >90% 🤔
I just saw another AI video that is really similar to the one embedded above. This one is by DJ Awkward and MC Roughneck Jihad. You can watch it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOr2ikOhliA
I think the music is much more interesting for Roughneck and Awkward's video than Don Diablo's song above, but the videos look like they were made in the same exact way. Is there a service that is cranking these out for artists? Or some sort of app? That would explain why they all look so similar.
The new economics of Twitter outrage
Here for the Slowdive album promo and Ryan's fourth wall-breaking endorsement of mushy brain shoegaze. Exceptional stuff.

Always here for your respect and deference to Caleb Gallo.
Reading this newsletter while playing Everything is alive, then seeing the album shoutout is just something else

Damn, I don't think I'll be at brightonSEO this year but enjoy and hope the talk goes well!
