Welcome to Garbage Weekend. It’s the internet garbage you know and love, but in a format that’s easier to read while you think about Andor and how lucky we are that it exists.

This week, we learned that Elon Musk plans to hand control of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) over to the director of the Office of Management and Budget (OPM), Russell Vought, who already runs DOGE's parent agency. He'll oversee projects like quietly reinstating dozens of programs they tried to cut, handling ongoing legal cases against the office, and generally holding the bag for Musk. Just like the rest of us. Maybe he can ask Grok for help, as long as it doesn’t randomly switch to racist conspiracies about South Africa. It all happens on X! At least we still have Instagram, unless you're James Comey and may be facing criminal charges for posting there. It’s thankfully still legal to post about President Trump’s mobile McDonald’s. Now this is the kind of government efficiency worth trading plane travel and knowing the weather for!
