Welcome to Garbage Weekend. It’s the internet garbage you know and love, but in a format that’s easier to read while you’re kettled by riot police and/or waiting for nuclear annihilation.

This week, Elon Musk apologized for his angry posts about President Trump from last week. But fans of politicians Posting Through It have plenty of other options. On top of illegally sending the National Guard to protests in Los Angeles, Trump has lit up Truth Social with insults to California Gov. Gavin Newsom — looks like he won't be the next right wing guest on Newsom's podcast. Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance reportedly needed to be kept on a leash from attacking Musk on X, so he could focus on targets like the ABC news anchor who was fired for posting that Trump and Stephen Miller are evil. Posting is truly bipartisan, though, since even a senator being handcuffed is inspiring way more posting than any official action from the rest of the Senate. Maybe they didn’t see the “Hang Fauci and Bill Gates” parade video before it got deleted.
Oh well, here’s some fun stuff…
